Pack Creek Campground

It is conveniently located between Arches and Canyonland. It has showers, bathrooms and full hookups. It is dusty and has goat heads so our dog didn’t like it at all. Stayed on the rug. Nice hosts and level spots. Has nice tent sites down in a ravine while the rest of your site is fenced in. Has some low hanging trees which made our original electric only reserved spot inaccessible, but were moved to to a full hookup at no charge.

Stayed here recently for a trip to Arches, Canyonlands, and Dead Horse. Great proximity to all the parks. We stayed in a tent site, which was awesome. It has an upper and lower area, with the upper part being partially fenced and the lower part being near a small creek. Very peaceful and relaxing. The entire camp was very quiet. Affordable and allows pets too. The bathrooms are a little older but very clean and have nice shower heads. The showers are free too if your site includes a bathroom pass. There's also a sink near the bathrooms that can be used for washing dishes. I talked with one of the gentlemen that work here and he's very friendly. Overall a great experience.

We were a bit skeptical because of a few other reviews but we had a great experience here. It was quiet and the staff were super nice and accommodating. The bathrooms were clean. We had an RV site right next to the long term/seasonal sites and they were all well kept. It’s next to a trailer park that was also quiet. Everyone kept to themselves. We went in March and the campground wasn’t full. It got pretty chilly at night. Over the hill behind the tent sites is a creek which provided a nice little hiking area shaded with some nice climbing trees. There’s also a fairly new playground that the kids really enjoyed. (see pics) The campground was outside of town a bit. It’s really close to Sand Flats Rec Area and also Rotary Park.

All around a great campgrounds. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Clean bathrooms and a nice hot shower.

Pack Creek Campground is off the beaten path, so is absolutely quiet. The restrooms, showers, and laundry were spotless. The Wifi was fabulous - we could even stream TV off of it while the park was nearly full. The RV sites are a little squeezed in, but no more so than the more expensive concrete parking lot RV parks on the main highway. This is a real gem and we'll always be staying here on our trips to Moab.
