We moored at Pages Marina. Met some lovely boat people. The Marina had clean washrooms with showers. Two loonies for three minutes of hot water. The general store staff are great. Plus, there is a picnic area. I don't know anything about Pages Motel.

Staff is fantastic, campsites are great, location is amazing, and the general store is super handy with just about everything you need and a surprising collection of very good wines. Like most my only complaint is the single bathroom and shower per gender. I absolutely understand using coin operated showers to conserve water, that's not my concern, it's that there is only one shower or toilet for many campers and people staying at the docks. The showers could use an upgrade in general, they were either boiling hot or freezing and sometimes not enough pressure to rinse. I'd give a 4.5 if I could but the washrooms and showers were a deal breaker.

I had my first opportunity to visit this location, and it was very nice; a friend of ours was feeding Eagles here. And the little shop was quite lovely.

Stayed here in an RV for 2 nights. Beautiful site at the far end of the island from the ferry, but doesn't take more than 15-20 mins to get there. We were made very welcome when we arrived, were personally shown to our pitch and advised of not only where all the facilities were, but also of potential walks and places to visit while we were there! The shop is well stocked and fair value for what it is and what they've got available! We walked down to the marina on our last evening and watched seals swimming and playing just off the pontoon - magic! We heard seaplanes coming in and taking off on a couple of occasions - but it really wasn't intrusive and for the most part there was barely a sound on our pitch! My only gripe (and it is always the case with most sites) is about the toilets and showers - one toilet cubicle and one shower (which is coin operated - grrr!) per gender to cover the whole campsite isn't enough. We both only had to wait for them once each, but I would imagine there could be a queue at the height of high season? That piece said, we'd be back here in a heartbeat. We both fell in love with the Gabriola vibe and this site and it's staff really made our stay there something special.
