USE CAUTION! This is a great spot to stay for the night but, DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING THERE. There is someone going through tent and stealing stuff when you are out exploring the surrounding area. We felt safe camping here as a group, but would not leave anything unattended at any point.

Stayed here early August, 2020. No fee, first come first serve, undeveloped National Forest campsites. There is no drinking water ot toilet. From the town of Hungry Horse it is about 7 miles of dirt road. It has several sites where you can camp right at the beach or shore by the car. It is a an exceptionally beautiful place.
