Palisade Basecamp RV Resort

My husband I camp here every year around October. The weather is perfect, the grounds are kept very clean, grass is well maintained and we really like the concrete pads. It keeps the dirt to a minimum inside our rig. It's very nice and quiet. The bathrooms are absolutely beautiful (like a 5 star hotel!) and impeccably clean. We have family in nearby Clifton and love that we can be so close!

Beautiful views no matter where you look. We were on the top over looking the river, but any site wouId be good here. The showers and bathroom were top notch. The pool looked nice too. The only downside was there wasn't any shade. It was October and still quite warm. The location was great to go anywhere. We rode our bikes to town and to a few wineries. Lots of places to eat for a small town. I will recommend to others.

Well manicured campground surrounded by a peach orchard and vineyards. With large RV sites to handle any size camper this is a great place to stay. The tent area is close to the river with large shade trees. There is a wonderful swimming pool and dog walk area. The bathhouse is VERY clean. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. I will be back next year for sure.

This was our second time going here this year. We were there in June, and the camp hosts, Scott and Patti, were so nice and engaging with all the guests, so we booked this last trip right then. Again, everyone was so nice and fun to get to know. Terry, the maintenance supervisor has some amazing ideas, and I hope we can help him make them happen! I didn't rate the rooms, we have an RV, so if I was dissatisfied, that's on me 😀

One of the best RV resorts we have stayed in. Lovely location right on river, sites really far apart with grass. Some sites have shade trees. Amazing restrooms and showers, sparkling clean. Sweet walks along the river and a great winery right next door. Small dog park but lots of grassy areas for dogs to walk on leash. Very friendly, helpful, welcoming staff. RV sites on the bluff with path to river level. Tents right on the river below. Great views of the river, the valley and the colorful cliffs all around. Palisade is a darling town with great restaurants, shops, galleries and if you are there on a Sunday morning the street fair is fabulous. If you are in the area you must choose this park for your stay.
