It's one of the most beautiful campgrounds ever. Don't bring a large camper in here. Mine is 20 feet and is fine. You can go a little bigger, but I wouldn't push anything over 28, I think .
Great spot just outside of Creede. We camped right on the river. The campground is just off the main road, but still very quiet.
I am so tired of everything inside of our national forests being pushed over to privately owned concessionaires that go out of their way to make it more annoying to pay for your campsite. On top of that, they’ll consistently hire absentee hosts that intentionally do not leave their trailer the entire time you are there.
Beautiful campground. The views of the Rio Grande River are superb. Loved our spot which was directly by the river. A hummingbird kept flying around our campground. Quite possibly the best campground in the Rio Grande National Forest. Also the cleanest restrooms. Overall a great spot.
This was an awesome place to stay. The host Bill and Tricia were very nice and friendly. The place was clean and quiet. We will return back next year .. loved the views and river.
