Well when I went In May alot of the ground still had snow. Lake Mary was slushy still/ frozen. Only the guy with tubes were catching fish in upper twin .I didn't have any luck off the bank , but I had several promising spots.Oh well, next day I headed to Rock Creek more action there.
It's a great group campground with 5 sites and a private bathroom. You need to reserve a year in advance for the best times in summer.
This place is badass it was under snow , but now it's probably Poppin
