Campground is clean with roomy, private site. So handy that each site has power and water. Bath houses are clean, heated and cooled, lots of hot water, washer and dryers. State Park has great hiking trails and canopy walk is nearby, a must see.
One of the best state campgrounds geared specifically of RV's. The sites are very long and wide. Each of the sites has full hookups. There are around 10 long pull thru sites. Unfortunately, the dump station at each site will only work with big trailers or motor coaches due to the height of the connection. The 2 other campgrounds in the park only have water and power.
Great!! We had a good time at this Campground. The state park had so much to do. We walked the canopy walkway, saw some gators, fished and drove around a lot! There were deer, squirrels, wild turkeys, gators, really neat birds and we even saw a wild boar. The site we stayed in was 89 and it was really big! Our rig is 36 feet with slides on both sides and the site was still plenty big.
Awesome campground! Clean, spacious, easy to navigate even with a bigger rig. Bathrooms, washer & dryer are clean and easily accessible. Park is huge, lots of areas to explore, either by biking or walking around!
2nd visit! Great park & palmetto ridge has big sites with full hook up. Hiking, biking, scenic boat ride, good concession area.
