The office staff was very kind and polite. She welcomed us to the park in a very friendly manner. The RV park is big and had a few amenities (shuffle boards, corn hole boards, huge chest game for kids, tether ball, swing set for little kids, small lazy river, kids pool, another small pool, a dog park. plenty of space to park your boats, trailers, etc. they rent out golf carts about $60 a day. The sites are a bit small (narrow) and too close to each other we think, unless you get the corner lots. There's not a lot to do around the area, so if you have a boat you can check out the lake. This lake does have alligators, so they say. It takes a good an hour 1/2 to get to Charleston, its about 3 miles for food Lion. It makes a great stopping point when you are traveling. I noticed a few campers camped and the next day they were on their way. The place is clean and with friendly people. It was a nice visit at this Resort.
This was one of the best RV Resorts we've ever stayed in. We loved how spacious the sites were. The resort is beautiful. Tons of room around to explore. Especially with two small pups whom love to walk around. We also want to say that the ladies in the office Heidi and Paige!! These two ladies went above and beyond to help us when we needed an date change due to weather. (Freak snow and ice storm of 2025) They were so understanding of our situation and so friendly. This site will be our #1 stop from Virginia Beach to Destin Florida which is originally home. Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts!! See yall soon.
This is my 3rd trip here and we scheduled a fourth trip before we left. The place is quiet and peaceful and safe for children. We walked, played in the pool, played in the game room and had an absolutely wonderful weekend. We have stayed in both the 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom cabins and they have been comfortable and nice. The staff is great. Paige is the one who has checked us in I think all 3 times and she is excellent. She goes above and beyond in helping us and telling us about the place and answers any questions we have. If I have to call, I always ask for her as she always is helpful and if she doesn't know the answer will find out.
We RV full time and visit a lot of places. This park is located adjacent to 1-95. There's other campgrounds off the same exit. The lady at check-in gave me a paper with a number to call if we needed anything, Well I called twice not 15 mins later and noone answered. Our site was terribly unlevel, not long enough for our camper, and situated on a large drain. It was obvious the ground had washed away down the drain. Other guests told us to just move to another open site but we didn't because we couldn't reach anyone in the office. Everything just appeared to be showing its age and not well maintained. The beach front cabins are probably great during the summer and the sunsets are beautiful even though the sun seems to set directly behind the interstate. Guess you get what you pay for... for less
Great place! Everyone is so friendly, helpful and professional! Entire campground and all facilities are kept very clean. Beautiful view of the lake, and they have alot of activities here. Great place all around!
