Welcome to Palouse Divide Nordic Ski Area (recgovnpsdata), located in Harvard, ID 83834. While primarily known for its winter activities, and listed under the Campgrounds & RV Parks category (potentially indicating seasonal camping or its management under a parks authority), the focus here is on its Nordic skiing facilities.
Environment: The environment at Palouse Divide Nordic Ski Area is characterized by its suitability for winter sports, specifically Nordic skiing. The trails are groomed for classic Nordic skiing, suggesting a well-maintained network designed for cross-country skiing enthusiasts. The presence of a warming hut stocked with firewood indicates a facility designed for comfort and shelter during colder months.
Services: The primary service highlighted is the grooming of trails specifically for classic Nordic skiing. There is no specific promotional offer mentioned, but the positive reviews serve as a recommendation for its groomed trails and warming hut facility.
For local users in US considering a visit during the winter season, Palouse Divide Nordic Ski Area offers a dedicated experience for classic cross-country skiing in a groomed trail environment. Trails groomed for classic Nordic skiing. Best to hit the tracks just as soon as they get groomed as dogs are allowed and often mess up the tracks. There's a nice warming hut stocked with fire wood.
White Pine single track, great fun
Fun, beautiful place to ski near Moscow. Best snow in the area (although not generally great snow...). Fun for skiing with kids (vs. the steeper areas such as Moscow Mt). Nice warming hut is good short lunch destination. Is also very lovely for hiking and biking in the Fall, although it can be busy with trucks and ATVs.
We went for Sunday Brunch and it was beautiful up there! The tamaracks were golden in October and the view was amazing. The Lodge is gorgeously decorated. I loved the antique/second hand store too.
When snow is lacking on the Palouse, this is the place to go.
