Trails groomed for classic Nordic skiing. Best to hit the tracks just as soon as they get groomed as dogs are allowed and often mess up the tracks. There's a nice warming hut stocked with fire wood.

Fun, beautiful place to ski near Moscow. Best snow in the area (although not generally great snow...). Fun for skiing with kids (vs. the steeper areas such as Moscow Mt). Nice warming hut is good short lunch destination. Is also very lovely for hiking and biking in the Fall, although it can be busy with trucks and ATVs.

We went for Sunday Brunch and it was beautiful up there! The tamaracks were golden in October and the view was amazing. The Lodge is gorgeously decorated. I loved the antique/second hand store too.

When snow is lacking on the Palouse, this is the place to go.
