Sites are narrow/tight and not clearly numbered. NO fire rings. Can't say I recall a campground not having a safe place for a fire!!? Not enough picnic tables for each site to have their own. Shower house is OK,. probably not cleaned regularly enough to keep spider webs under control. The Winnebago River is nice. Not many bugs bothered us. Electricity seemed clean according to our WatchDog. At $20 per night,.it's OK. But I think the city could do more. Grass is mowed nicely. Couple blocks from grocery and gas. Dump station and fresh water but the water is high in iron, giving it a sulfur smell. Ok for toilet and dishes, but I'd recommend buying water for drinking or coffee.
Right in town and close to the Winnebago factory tour. Level sites with power only. Back in sites would probably be tight for big rigs. The toilet/shower house needs help. Right next to a small river. Potable water and free dump stations on site. Self serve sign in at $15/night.
Small city campground with electric- 1 box for 4 sites as best I can tell. $15/night. Large dump station at campground entrance. Across the small river is a golf course.
Great park right off a main road with plenty of shade for picnics. Picnic tables are available around the park. Also has a washroom.
Small sized rustic city campground inside Forest City. Good for overnight stays, fee and registration box check in. Dump station availability. Campground is subject to occasional floods by the Winnebago River. Country Club - golf course with bridge accesd is on the opposite side of the river. Bike trail goes through campground.
Very small camp spaces, mostly without picnic tables, no fire pits. Bathroom / showers need updated.
