This resort was very comfortable. The music from across the street at Patches bar and grill went on until midnight. We loved it, but if you're an early to bed person, you may not want to stay here. You can walk across the street to eat at Patches, which has very good food and a fun atmosphere. A little ways past Patches you can walk to a very beautiful and clean beach with white sand. We will definitely return!
So it looks like since the last time I was here they have all new electric boxes, all of the sites are 99% level so that was nice. I really love this RV resort and the staff are very friendly. But really the ticket here is location that’s the draw for me. If they cleaned up the sites a little bit for example, the little bits and pieces of leftover trash from the previous campers that would be nice, but it’s not entirely a dealbreaker for me. There was a young man in the office when I went in to buy ice cream for my grandchildren Who went and hunted down some plastic spoons for them to eat the ice cream with and I just felt like that was so sweet. Saved me a trip from walking back to the camper so that was cool. It’s basically right across the street from public beach access one and there’s a crane Named Fred that walks up and down the beach in the morning when the sun is coming up, my granddaughter and I followed close behind him for about a mile and it was a really special experience ..It’s very cool. You could throw a rock and hit Saint Andrew State Park so the location is the best. But let’s talk about the bathrooms. Y’all can do better. The showers are gross and I felt like I needed rain boots in there to not get whatever black mold or whatever that was on the floor in there on my feet . It just had a foul smell every time and we’ve been here a couple times so y’all need to do better with those bathrooms but other than that we really enjoy our time there. The pool is warm and clean so when there’s 8000 jellyfish swimming around in the state park and the beach across the street, it’s nice to have an alternative. We will be back and we really hope the bathrooms are in better shape.!
Small RV park that is well kept. Only reason I went with 4 stars is because the pool was dirty. Other than that, it’s in a fantastic location, walking distance to the beach and restaurants! Beach was beautiful and shells could be collected by handfuls! I would definitely stay here again!
This would have so much potential if they paid just a little more attention. Vegetation was poor and unkempt Sites were dirty and lighting knocked over and not working in every site. Dog park was disgusting. They have not picked up dog waste in trash cans and it overflowed. If they just used a pressure washer and replaced ground cover with a gravel it would look and be so much better Definitely not worth the awesome location
Super nice little RV park near the beach. Very clean bathrooms. Level, paved spots. Nice pool. Friendly service. Would definitely visit again!
