A group of 15 of us walked in the restaurant, unannounced . . . AJ was fabulous! We never waited for water refills, drinks came fast, food came out AMAZINGLY fast and was DELICIOUS. Clean ~ friendly atmosphere. We do this get together once a year and will definitely put this on the list for next year. Highly recommend!

We had the best time at Papa Chubbys! Very peaceful, and relaxing! Stayed in the cabins they were very cozy, comfortable, lots of room and had everything you need! Ate at the restaurant and the food and drinks were finonamal! We had the pizza which is the BEST on the lake hands down. Ribeye was cooked perfect and tasted even better. I can't stop there..... We had the prime rib on Sunday delicious, meatball sub, pulled pork, Ruben, and fish tacos. Everything we ate was absolutely amazing. Bands were also great. If your looking for a place at the lake Papa Chubbys has everything you need!

Super short staffed. Had a gift shop with about 50 total shirts. Asked manager for specific shirt worker had on and was told he “didn’t want to spend 100 grand for more shirts since end of the year”. People were walking in gift shop that was unmanned and leaving empty handed since limited sizes/options and no one to pay. Super cute shirts and people we’re Talking about them. Couldn’t buy…. Food was hot and good but had taken 45” for 1 meal to arrive on Saturday at noon. Bartender was nice but super overworked and couldn’t even ask us another beer in 30”. Just like most places. No people to work. Then the people there don’t know how to run it. Just order more shirts. They will sell next year 🤷‍♀️. Not year specific. Wouldn’t go again.

Very nice setup and looked like a great place to stay. We were there just for the bike show during bike fest, but the food at the restaurant and bar was excellent!

Bar closes to early says it stays open until 10:00 but closes at 9. Beach is around the boat dock which doesn't allow for much swimming. Cabin was ok but not the cleanest. Couch still had food in it looked like many months ago. Glad I brought my pillow from home not very comfortable. Beds aren't the best either all of us who stayed woke up with our backs hurting. Food at the bar was really good.
