We stayed four days in our travel trailer and loved it. We had a small issue with the water being off, but had filled our fresh tank, so we were good while the maintenance team took care of it. I called the after hours line and someone was on site within 5-10 minutes. The whole thing took less than 30 minutes and we had running water. Couldn’t be happier with the staff’s responsiveness. As for the site itself, we chose one up in the trees with shade. It still had a lovely lake view off in the distance. The site was clean and comfortable. Check in/out were easy. Recommendations: - for same day check in make sure you do it during business hours. - check the site descriptions to make sure you have enough water and sewer hose length. The power pedestal was in a perfect spot. - read the rules on vehicle parking/guests per site/etc. there are a few to take note of, and the they keep the place super nice and enjoyable. Thanks so much, we’ll definitely be back.
Ok here’s my honest review of this place after my recent visit. The idea is super cute and really smart but the place is lowkey kind of abandoned. They say they have a front office/store that’s convenient to you… yea that’s abandoned. It was closed and has been for a while from what I was told. The “activities” that they supposedly have are all closed. The bathrooms are definitely better than an outhouse but not all that for the price you pay. There’s no hiking trails on the site so you have to drive 30 mile more to find a state park to hike. When we initially got to our site there were dirty socks lying around and inside the room was trash from what I assume was the previous guest. When it was time for bed we pulled the covers to find bug body parts… lol that was a no for me…. the lights on our patio were also out which kinda sucked. The items that they provide you with are either dirty or completely rusted. It’s a beautiful place when you sit and relax and just exist in the nature but definitely not worth the price. We didn’t even stay for the second night because it just wasn’t worth it. Kinda sad since it really does have great potential!
We had a great valentines weekend in one of the kabanas! The bed was very cozy & everything was clean. They quickly brought us jumper cables when I realized my car battery had died. AND they mailed my toiletry bag to me when I realized I had forgotten it! The stay was lovely & the people were even better.
The RV site was clean and beautiful. The staff was really helpful and kind when needed for questions and whatnot. We will visit this spot again in the future. Kids loved the shore line being very close and stayed out there all day!
Place was trash. Bathrooms look like they have not been clean in a while. They did not have the decency to tell us when they called us that they were flooded and the boat dock and beach was not open. The hook ups for the trailer were soooo far apart my water line was too short and the sewage line was on the other side of the camper. No a good lay out.
