Absolutely beautiful! Friendly, quiet and peaceful. Lovely gardens. Great sites within the trees. Clean washrooms and friendly staff. We visited twice and will definitely be back.
The best provincial park I have ever been to. Best facilities and very clean bathrooms. Very scenic places, big lots, good privacy, great price. I am in campground B site 71, with full hookups.
We have stayed here 2 times. Both times we were passing through the area. We travel with a RV trailer, so we are interested in the 2 way and 3 way sites. They do have some pull-thru sites. The park is located close to the hwy. You can hear some road noise from the 3 way sites. These 3 way sites are my favourite. I will continue to use this park.
We stayed on the island - great for one night but wouldn't recommend it for any longer. The washrooms on the island need an update but they're reasonably clean. No showers in the island portion. Fair bit of road noise! Outside of that, this spot is beautiful. Rest of the campground was much more accommodating. There's a pool, trails, great washrooms, tennis courts + you get a discount for the botanical gardens!
It was great if not the noise from the highway. You are getting used to it, but this is not what you want to hear while camping. One playground was demolished, so the only one left next to the pool. The pool was not heated at all. It was written on a board, temp 25.5c, but the pool was much colder. The pool schedule is ridiculous, taking into account, that there were 3-5 lifeguards/workers everytime. - why isn't the pool working? - cos we are having rest. I think they could just shift and replace each other making working hours without breaks Wifi was around the pool and the small convenience store. There is also a room for children between the pool and store, where you can cover from the rain. Visitors of the camping have 25% discount for the botanical garden. Overall it was nice experience. Next time I would book unserviced site, far away from the highway.
