Customer Reviews
Nice group campsite with capacity of 50 people. Plenty of space to have maybe 10-15 tents. Plenty of benches and nice big barbecue area. Has a fire pit. Alcohol allowed with $25 extra permit. Trash cans are nearby. It also has a large shade with plenty of seating inside and also an animal proof food storage cabinet. Water is also nearby. The only problem was that the restrooms were a bit of a walk. You may go in the woods in case of emergency but would have given five stars if they were near. Also it’s a bit of a walk from the parking lot (it’s paved) so make sure you have a trolley to carry your stuff to campsite otherwise it will soon become very heavy and cumbersome. We just explored a small trail but plenty of redwood trails nearby. Lots of people use the nearby paved road to get to their trails. Great to have this as an option very close to home in Bay Area.
Spacious and great for a large group of people.
