The KOA is nice and right on the Colorado River. The problem is that the RV sites are very small, not much room at all between rigs. And this is the first KOA that we've ever stayed at that doesn't give a Veterans discount. They said the reason they don't is because the KOA is new, about 8 years old. I don't feel entitled to the discount, it just surprised me when I asked and the reason given didn't make sense. For one night it was okay.

Mixed feelings here. Our spot was nice. But it was in front of a pump house. So we could hear that all hours. Guess it was a pump house. Anyway, park models could use some love.. not real attractive. We saw we were supposed to have cable. Hooked up to it and though it said like over 300 channels (we knew something wasn't right there) we got 2. One was a landing page for cable provider the other was National Geographic channel. The WiFi was very good. Water pressure good. Our Rig is 43+. Ft. Pretty easy in and out. Maybe a tad more expensive.... Folks there were pretty nice but didn't see the staff out interacting much and keeping an eye on things. We were there in the second half of April but wasn't all that busy. However the folks using the water... Boats, very loud. 7am waterskiers, Loud boats... Already at it. Didn't mind that so much but occasionally some boats were VERY loud. We didn't use other facilities so can't rate those.

We purchased a camp site for Thanksgiving. We were disappointed because our kids could not use the game room without someone 18 and over. We have never had that problem in the past. We were told ita because they cater to the snowbirds. Yet their policies menti I need nothing about this. We also camped next to the dumb station which made it smell horrible outside.

Won’t let fully contained vans stay there because we aren’t a “full RV” even though our rig is better built and more expensive than most RVs. Such a pretentious state. This is the second KOA we haven’t been allowed to stay at and both were in California. But stayed at over 40 all across the western US just fine!

We reserved a spot online. They called at 1:15 pm on our day of arrival to stay that we couldn’t stay there. Why would they allow us to book? Why couldn’t they have called first thing in the morning? We’ve been staying at KOAs all throughout our trip. Definitely disappointed. They claimed that they aren’t “a full KOA.” Whatever that means.
