Customer Reviews
Good campground. Don’t let the ATVs fool you, this is a quiet campground. Jeff was awesome - answered questions and took care of things quickly. The luxury cabin we stayed in was very nice and a great price. Free amenities, which was amazing. Campground was not crowded, which was great for our large group as we were able to use the amenities together. Jeff and his family seem to be giving the place the TLC it needs and we look forward to seeing what they do with the place in the future. 10/10 would stay again.
Broke down at the Cenex across the pond. Needed to have the truck towed but wasn’t sure what to do about the camper. Look around and there is a campground across the way. Call the main number and the owner Jeff answers. He had a spot for us for a few days. He even came over to pick me up on the golf cart to get me all checked in and stake out the spot. Drove me back to the truck and camper. Thankfully the truck was able to make it to the campground with the camper. Jeff was extremely friendly and welcoming from the moment we spoke. Very personable and accommodating as well. Kid friendly place. Very quiet at night, even being next to a highway. Reasonable prices for full hook ups! ATV trail very close and a well kept campground! Will stay here again if I am ever up this way!
We stayed memorial weekend to do some trail riding. Perfect location to the trails. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Not a ton of kitchen supplies, but we had brought our own. Jeff was wonderful from - making our reservations to delivering firewood right to our site! Will definitely stay here again!
I would like to start off by thanking Jeff and Steve for your hospitality! What a powerhouse of a team! We just got home from our stay at Parkland Village campground, and we were pleasantly surprised with our stay. It was a VERY last minute booking for the 4th of July weekend, but they still had a handful of open RV sites with W/E for the 4 days that we wanted. We arrived shortly after check-in and we were greeted right outside the main office by the owner, Jeff, and the maintenance man Steve. Both were extremely pleasant and when we asked if our friends (who didn’t pay the lock fee and their site got changed) could be placed right next to us since the spot was still available when checking it. Jeff and Steve looked in to it and said yep that would work and escorted us right to our campsite. That level of service is unmatched with all the campgrounds we’ve been too! We pulled right in and got settled. As we were staying there, we learned that Jeff is the new owner as of April this year and has already made many improvements to the campground. The pool was awesome, and we spent 8 hours there one day! It was very clean and inviting and they had a whole bin full of pool noodles and other toys for the kids to play with. On Friday the 4th, they had karaoke night, and following that they had adults only swim from 10:30-midnight-which was great! The seasonal campers at the pool that night were very friendly and Steve even came to hang out! He made sure to ask us how our stay was and to let him know if we needed anything or had any suggestions. This campground is very close to the ATV/UTV trails, which we took our SXS to one day. Overall, this Veteran owned campground is a little gem that we thoroughly enjoyed staying at! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Couple suggestions: adding the lock fee into site rental, sites markings, adding a dump station, and adding a check-in package with WiFi password, map of campground, local dining options, camp activities/events for the week.
Our family stayed here 4th of July weekend. Jeff and Steve are great hosts. It's a nice, quiet campground, with close access to the trails. It was a hot weekend, and we found ourselves hanging out at the pool a lot. Everything was about the perfect size to be a nice family hideout. Also, the sites were double pull through, so we had a long strip of area to share between us and our friends! Only recommendation I offer is some sort of map/flier where our site is circled with your basic information about the campground (pool times, any events, quiet hours, Wi-Fi password, etc etc). We had a bumper pull with a sxs and there was plenty of room for all of our stuff. We were on the sites without sewer, and there was no dump station, but the gas station down the road allows dumping for $10 (maybe that could be in the flier too 👍) Wood was cheaper than most campgrounds, and the fire ring was large! I don't think you could beat this place for the price! Oh, and just cause I told Steve I would throw it in the review, we really think it needs a hot tub! 🤣 Thanks for the hospitality Jeff and Steve! Oh, almost forgot, I think some shirts and hats/other merchandise might be worth looking into. Thanks again!
