Love love love Parksland! A gorgeous retreat to get out of the city and reconnect to nature. Always love visiting. There is a large creek/swimming spot just a short hike away on the property + the property is nearby to the Blue Hole swimming spot - highly recommend washing your troubles away. π±π Clean camp bathroom available with soap and water and hand sanitizer to wash hands. Well-kept property and fire pits. Firewood and other supplies available for purchase. My photos were taken in winter but it is gorgeous in all seasons! Clothing-optional π£
We enjoyed our first clothing optional camping experience. Talked to Dustin upon arrival, and he gave us the general layout and rules. We then began the daunting task of getting all of our camping gear down to the creekside location. This is the farthest of the camping sites, which is great if you want the most privacy. However, you need to be minimalist to try and get everything in one trip because you have to decend down the trail over 900ft and around 100 of which is elevation change. You can buy a bag of firewood for $10 if you want to have a campfire. Directions were easy to follow. Just know that you have to go down a dirt road, and it is real narrow once you turn down the driveway. Parking is designated by the camping spot you chose and only large enough for one vehicle. Our P3 camping site was nice, but not a lot of level ground. It appeared that the P2 site was a much more level spot. We experienced a lot of ticks during our stay, so bring plenty of bug spray. And finally, we used the outdoor shower before leaving and it was awesome. Highly recommend.
Parksland Retreat is hands down the best experience I've had in a while! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by Dustin, the owner, who is an incredibly kind and welcoming human being. His warm demeanor set the tone for the entire visit. The retreat itself is absolutely beautiful, offering something for everyone. Whether you're looking for a peaceful spot to meditate, a scenic trail for a hike, or a cozy nook to read a book, Parksland has it all. What truly sets Parksland Retreat apart is the atmosphere. It's the most welcoming and accepting retreat I've probably ever been to. The vibes are simply fantastic; love and kindness are felt in every corner of the property. Even though I was only there on a day pass, the experience was so enriching that I am already eagerly looking forward to my next visit when I can stay the night and fully immerse myself in the serene environment. If you're searching for a place where you can relax, rejuvenate, and feel genuinely accepted, look no further than Parksland Retreat. Dustin has created a magical space that leaves a lasting impression. I canβt wait to go back!
Stayed in Creekbend campsite which had a gorgeous rock wall on the creek. This place was magical, awesome laid back vibe, hiking and an awesome swimming hole. The hike from the car to campsite is steep but I needed the workout. Worth every step.
Beautiful location! We had an amazing anniversary trip! Owners are so nice and welcoming! Tent was perfect! I will agree with previous reviews that arriving in the daytime is preferable due to the dirt/gravel road, but directions were perfect! Make sure you hike down to the swimming hole and rock wall, it's absolutely beautiful! We can't wait to go back!
