My wife and I are locals and love coming here for a weekend getaway of great food, friendly staff, and a cozy lodge with a ton of history. Owners are very accommodating and are super cool people. If you’re into local history and/or the paranormal, combined with good food and drink, this is your spot.
Came after 10pm without booking and they found me a room to stay. Even the bar was open after hours so I was glad to take couple beers. Room was clean and comfort to stay in. Atmosphere is cozy and everyone is kind. Breakfast is not included by they serve it after 10am for reasonable price. Highly recommending to spend 1-2 days there!
Camped across the hwy for years. Loved the trout. Even stayed there one night of my honeymoon trip in 1982.
The lodge is unique. The setting is hard to describe it's absolutely beautiful and a little bit remote but not isolated
We had a very delicious dinner here: fresh and tasteful! Our waitress was very sweet and helpful! Glad we came! Staying at the campsite across the street.
