Nice, clean, and beautiful natural setting. There is access to the San Marcos River. They have a refreshing pool with lounge chairs. We had an electrical issue, and the owners came to our site, supplied us with their surge protector, and fully assisted us with the issue. Then, going way above and beyond, she brought homegrown tomatoes, squash, and peppers to us. Wow, we were very impressed!

This place was our first camping experience. And many more after. The beautiful Park the owners are really nice. I've got goats and miniature horses and things for the grandkids to see. The place is really kept up really clean. They have veteran discounts and treated me and my wife who are both veterans with great respect. Can't wait to come camping there again.

This was our first at River Bend campground. This place is accommodated primarily for RV’s and not for tents. They do have a nice and clean pool, laundry is in good working condition, kitchen ok site has the basics in case you decide to cook there. Restrooms and showers are clean and spacious and since it’s almost only RV’s, this means showers and restrooms are empty and you don’t have to wait or stay in line for a shower. The bad thing about this place is the access to the river... there is only one entrance (access) and this part of the river is not very nice. There is no docks along the river or even stairs like other campgrounds. If you have a kayak, this is not the right place for you. Place is quiet but if you have kids, this place is kinda dangerous since there is a high drop from the campground to the river all along. Place is gated and you get a password once you arrive. Owners live on site and drive a golf car everyday all day all around.. this means it might be annoying at some point since they don’t let you stay at your peace. They asked us to pick up our trash the second day and keep our site clean (some other campgrounds let us stay at our peace as long as we clean everything before we check out) Oh and one more thing! They do not have grills on site and no trash cans on each site. You have to take your trash to the dumpster everyday.
