Here’s what some of our guests have to say:
Lake Almanor is amazing. Spent my summers working and enjoying the lake. Paul Bunyan has a nice campground with trees. Old school spot! The restaurant is no longer open during the summers, but it's still a very cool location
What a great little place to stay. We stayed 2 nights after a long motorcycle ride. A family business! Food is simple but good. Rooms are comfortable, clean and reasonably priced compared to some of the other places around the lake. Staff is very friendly and Will to help. Homemade cinnamon rolls are Amazing. We stayed in Room 5. Wish the bed didn't squeak but extremely comfortable. I would give this place five stars if they had hot tub / Spa a perfect night cap to the evening over looking the lake.
I enjoyed my stay here at Paul Bunyan. The staff are out and about. There is a grill in the office with reasonable prices. The RV sites have power, water, and sewer. Good WiFi even in the back of the park. Access to a marina is just across the street. I will stay here again in the future. Cons: no fire rings or open fires Extras: Deer came down our camp. The children were thrilled.
Needs renovation and ac But other then that it was great.
I've had a burger here several times over the years. Never disappointed. Great burger, good fries, good service.
