I wouldn't want to picnic next to this swampy lake. I'm sure it's buggy as anything! The campground is very lame and doesn't have any facilities. Better than nothing? Paddling here isn't the best but you're likely gonna have the place to yourself because nobody else would want to go here.
Beautiful and peaceful though you can hear cars from highway. And a few biting flies.
Probably best after a cold snap and before the last snow melts... the mosquitoes are a "No DUH" in the Northwoods but I was anemic by the time I left this place after only stopping to check it out!
