Amazing place!! Absolutely top notch brand new campground! The owner and his wife are amazing people and really love the vision that they have for this campground. They have movie nights and the capers get to vote on the movie which is cool. They brought in very good BBQ from a local restaurant that you can buy Friday and Saturday nights . They have kayak and canoe rentals which we went on the river which was very relaxing and great sites of nature. The bathroom/bath houses are an amazing concept that the owner came up with. They are completely separate bathroom and shower not the typical locker room situation that you see at every other campground. They even have AC ! Super clean and immaculate campground. One way traffic is great so kids can ride scooters and bikes without worry. Great campground and see you again soon !Amazing sunsets in the evening! Perfectly level campsite that includes fire pit and picnic tables. The owner and his wife did an amazing job with this concept.

Our stay at Peace River was truly exceptional and exceeded all expectations. Every single detail was meticulously thought out. So many fun activities on site like canoeing, playgrounds, and even a large outdoor movie screen both the adults and kids enjoyed! The glamping accommodations were not only immaculate but also aesthetically pleasing, with every comfort considered. From soft towels and the coziest bedding and blankets to high-quality toiletries, no amenity was overlooked. The attention to cleanliness and care was really remarkable. It’s the perfect blend of luxurious camping and nature at its finest, we can’t wait to return!

This was a great find!!! Family owned and run campground with a lot of detail to make your camping experience nothing but the best. Old Florida charm. Beautiful oak trees, sites are large and comfortable. They had plenty of activities for the kids and adult. Outdoor movie theater this place was great. Very peaceful will definitely make this a regular place to go and relax and enjoy the outdoors. We camped with three Other families, we usually all try to go camping at least once a month. This will definitely be our go back to place to relax. Also, they have canoe rentals and four wheelers, which was really cool. I get this place a five star go enjoy the beautiful old oak trees that surround the campground and throughout the property a campfire is a must out there and relax!

Beautiful property and a great camping experience! Great place to relax and take it easy or try out one of the many adventurous activities they offer like canoeing or ATV tours. My kids had fun playing the outdoor games, riding on the zip line swing and riding their bikes around the park. We enjoyed the extra large paved RV sites, weekend movie nights and the campfire on colder nights!

Our recent stay at Peace River Oaks left me speechless. The grounds were very well taken care of and our glamping tent was immaculate. It was very clean, the appliances were convenient, and the beds were actually comfortable. The little details in the tent gave a vintage vibe and made you feel like you were at home. The bathrooms were so clean and they even provided shampoo and conditioner. We kayaked along the river during the day and grilled/sat by the fire at night. If you need a nature re-set, this is the place. Peace River Oaks is a hidden gem and we will definitely be back.

We recently rented 2 glamping tents (#7 & 8) at Peace River Oaks and had an awesome time. The grounds are well laid out and access to everything was close and easy to get to. We traveled with a one and three year old and they especially loved the natural playground. Our 3 year old also really enjoyed Popsicles in the evening from the camp store. The glamping tents were very clean (bathrooms too) and had everything we needed. We fished at the edge of the river behind our tents and caught Gar & catfish and loved watching all the cows gather along the bank in the evening. The hot tub was a big hit and well worth the extra fee (we turned the heat way down and used it like more of a pool). Canoeing was awesome with so much to see and we really appreciated having Dan drive us back to the campground instead of having to paddle back. Overall, it was an amazing family trip and I would highly recommend it to folks of all ages. The only drawback was the water in the tent, which tasted really salty. I'm assuming it's well water so not much can be done about the taste. My suggestion is to bring plenty of bottled water for your trip.

“Peaceful” and “lovely” perfectly describe our experience—just like the many glowing reviews before us, we couldn’t agree more! While nearby construction made the RV park a little tricky to find at first, Daniel quickly returned our call and patiently guided us in with step-by-step directions. That kind of hospitality at the beginning set the tone for our entire stay. The RV spots are fantastic—flat, spacious, and easy to navigate, each with its own picnic table and fire pit. The restrooms were a pleasant surprise: private, thoughtfully designed, and spotless, with real showers and toilets. The grounds are beautifully maintained with huge, gorgeous oak trees that provide shade and character throughout the park. Some even double as natural play areas for the kids! The amenities go above and beyond: ATV & Canoe rentals, hiking trails, zip lining, yard games like cornhole, yard pong, ping pong, horseshoes, swings, movie nights under the stars, live music, and delicious food on Friday and Saturday nights. This park strikes the perfect balance of relaxation and fun, making it a wonderful destination for families or anyone looking to unplug and enjoy nature with a touch of comfort. The price is incredibly reasonable for all that’s offered. We stayed in our RV, but were able to see the Glamping tents-WOW! Very well thought out and just as beautifully described by others. If we had one small suggestion, it would be to add a couple of community grills—but truly, this place is already a standout. We can’t wait to come back!

We stayed at Peace River Oaks RV Park last week, and it was an absolutely magical experience. The entire place is clean, peaceful, and surrounded by the kind of natural beauty that instantly helps you unwind. The RV sites are spacious and thoughtfully laid out, giving you plenty of room to relax and enjoy the outdoors. One of the highlights for our family was the beautiful nature playground, which includes a zip line, swings, and plenty of space for kids to run around and explore safely. It added so much joy to our stay and made it a great spot for families with children. They also offer kayak rentals, which are perfect for enjoying the scenic Peace River, as well as ATV rentals if you’re in the mood for a little adventure. There’s always something to do! The sunsets were absolutely breathtaking each evening—golden skies reflecting off the trees and river. Most nights, we even got to watch the cows wander out into the field right before sunset, which felt like something out of a movie. The staff was warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. They clearly care about making this place special, and it shows in every detail. We can’t wait to come back!

We did a girls trip with eighteen 50+ ladies and had a blast! The service was top notch & so very accommodating. The campground is gorgeous and very well laid out. The community area was super nice with ping pong, corn hole, toys for kids, chairs, live music & BBQ on Friday & Saturday evenings. Very relaxing. The tents are beautiful, the hot tub a must and the view from the very large porches is fabulous. Just know that the bunk bed is not a good idea for adults of our age. It's great for kids! The beds are very comfortable. The staff bust their butts all day and it is so clean everywhere! The private bathrooms with the tents are great too. Nice pathways throughout. The RV pads are huge and most of them shaded by gorgeous established live oak trees. We heard a swimming pool is in the future and that's going to be the icing on the cake! Once the word gets out about this place, booking will be needed way in advance and that's a great thing for the owners. They deserve it! It is easy to see a lot of love went into this camp site. We'll be back!

An EASY and fun outdoor family getaway spot for a reasonable price. My wife, three children (2-7) and I stayed in a “Glamping Tent” along the Peace River. It had most everything we needed and we were very happy with our stay. The owner and staff were very accommodative and friendly making our time more enjoyable. We spent time hanging at the tent, in the hot tub, fishing, watching the wildlife, and playing at the playground and using the provided yard games. We rented canoes from PRO for a fun little paddle down the river as a whole family. They provided a courtesy shuttle to pick us up from Payne’ Creek State Park kayak launch about an hour or so downstream from the launch. Later, my oldest and I attempted a relatively successful self-guided fossil hunt down the river. We also rented a SXS ATV and we spent turns driving the trails, our kiddos favorite. We took a day trip to the Ringling Museum in Sarasota which we all enjoyed. Then hit the Plant Hotel Museum in Tampa before heading back to our home in NE FL.
