2025-01: I recently visited a friend staying here and it was okay. It was almost full due to work crews for Hurricane Helene clean up being in town. The other people staying at the park were great, quiet at night and no issues. However, the road noise from Peach Orchard was very apparent, and the train tracks along the back of the park property will surely give you the surprise of a lifetime when a train goes by since it's so loud. It was convenient having a Family Dollar next door to easily and quickly walk to for some basic or last minute things you might want or need.
Exactly as described, not glamping and no fancy amenities but a good place to park and stay! Great for short or long term. Easy access to base and restaurants/locations In South Augusta. Convenient self-check in and reservation via website and phone. Had 30 AMP hookup with ample room for parking two vehicles and good water pressure. Thank you!
It's a fairly nice RV spot. The spots are very crowded, but there are spots with shade. No facilities and no laundry, dirt "pads". At this time, it is geared more for the traveling workers than a vacation RV spot, in my opinion. It is maintained and we are very happy to be here.
We stayed in the park for a week and we didn’t like this place! The place is noisy, there is a highway on one side, and a railway on the other. The prices are inflated: 60 dollars for one day - expensive for a place where there is no laundry or showers. The parking areas are not level and are not equipped for recreation. And the most disgusting thing is that every day there was a terrible smell of sewage in the park, it was impossible to breathe!!! This is simply unacceptable!!!
Off a highway that is always busy so expect it to be noisy. The park was designed poorly so majority of campers have to have the bedroom side facing the road(where it is LOUD) The spots are incredibly uneven. The owner is rude as hell and charged me $200 more than the original $550 he quoted me in January. I kept asking to pay the total and he kept saying that I can just pay it when I get there. Turns out it was so he could up the price from the original quote the day I checked in. Considering I had pulled my trailer from another state and had no other place to park it, I was SOL. Add on to the fact that I paid a $100 non-refundable deposit when I booked my spot. Reading through their responses to other reviewers, I see that they take zero accountability for the criticism they receive and only offer excuses. I would never recommend this place to anyone and encourage you to look elsewhere to park. It’s location is fairly convenient but not worth the hassle. There were so many red flags that I ignored and had to pay for, literally. Worst campground I’ve been to yet. 👎
