Clean. Great views! Not all spots accommodate all rvs; many have flat grades, but several have severe crowns and drop 2-4ft from road height. They had porta-jons when we were there but some of the cleanest I've had to use.
Nice campground even though bathrooms were closed. Ample porta potties. Sweet hike around the perimeter.
(Site 74) This is by far the best campground in frisco. Site comes with a picnic table, BBQ pit and a firepit BBQ combo, the combo is pretty deep so charcoal isn't really an option here. Pull in is gravel but rest of the campground is paved. Camp host is right next door with firewood. Restrooms are next to the camp host as well so it's just a short walk from the site. There's a water spigot at the restrooms. The restrooms have running water so no vault toilets here! That's a win in my book. Anything you need is a very short drive away. There's a nice trail that runs the bank of the river. The camp pad is up a trail on top of the small hill. There's a small trail at the site that goes to the bank of the lake and along the trail is a large log on the left to sit on and enjoy the view. Quick reminder I had to book this site months in advance. There's showers at Silverthorne rec center for 5 dollars a person. There is a good fishing point along the trail that goes along the lake by the site. Water is extremely cold and no swimming is allowed but regular activities are fine but if you take a dip I don't think you will get in any trouble. Also be chipmunk aware they got into my cooler and ate some of my food. Hope this helps!
Awesome place, family loves it, great trails, walking and biking. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Peaceful with gorgeous views. Our kids love playing in the sand and meeting people on the beach. Definitely a great vacation spot. Wonderful weekend getaway.
Stunning views & a quick hop, skip, and a jump to everything that you would need from civilization! Highways are closed downtown Frisco and downtown. Silverthorne are close and Lake Dillon is right next to you!
