If you want secluded this is it! Went up for the fourth an only had one person there on the day of. And two more the following day. Both left after one night. So pretty much had the spot to ourselves for 4 nights. Drive up is paved till the last hundred yards. One vault toilet. Bring air fresheners. No water to use except the creek. So bring plenty. The two sites on the water are the best. Spot 4 being the tip top spot. Own private drive for it that you can easily block off so people don't drive in. Our site had one picnic table, and a few logs for chopping wood on. Site 3 has two huge tables but is in the sun most of the day in July. Bugs weren't terrible. Little black things came out at night. But besides that if you keep your food shut and clean up no issues with bugs. One bar for TMobile out in the woods. No service for at&t Shooting up the road on side trails from the shells we seen hiking. Plus, there are a few off grid spots farther up the road!! Just gotta pick a road and goo all the way to the end trust me! Hiking around the road up, along with other sites like 8 mile and 15 mile campground. The forest ranger is on point out there. So pay your camp fees. Leave your extra wood and clean up after yourselves!
Pebble Ford Campground is kind of small, but it doesn't matter much, because it's very likely you'll be the only one there. Hike up the road a little further, and there's a great territorial view of the surrounding area. Anyway, no running water and you have to carry out your trash, but the vault toilet was actually pretty nice.
A very beautiful and clean campground by the creek. Secluded and peaceful! There was one vault toilet (pretty clean). We only saw four campsites here. Site #3 and #4 are big, and right on the creek. We stayed on site #4. This would be a perfect spot for big family! The water at creek was crystal clear! Love the creek sounds! A definitely a little beautiful hidden gem!
Needed a little bit of TLC but all and all it was a great camping experience no shower just a toilet a creek ran right through the middle , dividing it from another campsite however, there is campsites right next to the main double designated camping spot a little bit spendy not unreasonable. It had a daily visitor aswell a deer π¦or two one had two lil fawns with her it was awesome, except for the dogs π
Dry camp ground. No water, one handicap accessible toilet. Has little creek. Not to many spots. Clean. Lots of trees, on east side to Mt. Hood. Wonderful drive up south from Hood River or west from Dufer.
Beautiful campgrounds and clean Port a potty.
