The campground is very nice and well maintained. It does have a small indoor pool and a playground, but we did not use either. Our site had shade, which we appreciated since the temps were always in the 90s. The location was great for us because we were doing things in both Austin and San Antonio and didn’t want to have to keep moving our camper. The only negative thing for us was that because of all the speed bumps within the park, it made it difficult to ride our bikes.
Wanted to make a reservation for my son {21} and I while we get ready for a long trip. They have this really stupid rule that discriminates against families that want to travel with kids 18 or older. Do not support this "business".
Pacon valley RV Park is very clean and spacious. The people in front office are very friendly to us. As being military retired folks they offer great discounts. Thankyou
Approach made us a little leary, but keep going all the way to the back and you'll find the cleanest, quietest, friendliest campground you've ever found. We will definitely come back and do some fishing!
Highly recommend Pecan Park on the beautiful San Marcos River! With a short walk to the river, beautiful trees, and an indoor pool/hot tub in addition to friendly staff means I will be back again next year.
