The lake and scenery are gorgeous. The campground bathroom is clean. The watwr is clean and great for swimming. When I went into the marina to buy ice, they ask for me to put a shirt on. That's fine. However, when I went back in with my shirt on, the two employees were chatting with one of their shirtless friends. The employees were curt, rude, unaccommodating, and inconsistent.
Clean and everyone was friendly! People there were also respectful of others. Not a lot of blasting music, etc, so was nice to enjoy the quiet!!
I have been going to Lake Simtustus for 20years and have noticed a steady decline in upkeep and customer service. The staff is lazy and rude. Store hours are un reliable. I highly recommend if you visit the lake bring all your own supplies (ice, food, gas, etc). Also be aware of puncture vine. NOT A WELCOMING PLACE.
Dockside Cafe was really cool. We had Breakfast and watched the boats go in and out. Friendly Service. 🤠🇺🇲
