This is one of the very gorgeous state park in Door County. I visited here during fall colors. The colors were just incredibly beautiful. Very pleasant and perfect spot to spend a day out. There also few trails ranging from 2 to 15 miles in length.

Peninsula State Park is absolutely gorgeous! There are multiple areas to look out into the water. We found a path that led down from the road to the beach at sunset. There are so many rocks and seashells. I could’ve sat and watched the waves all day. You can see the different islands out on the water. Can’t wait to come back here!

Peninsula State park is one of my favorite state parks in Wisconsin. We typically camped here in the past but, this year we visited in fall for the beautiful tree foliage. I also really enjoyed biking on the trails in the past would recommend visiting this park in Door County :)

The highlight of a recent autumn trip to Door Co, this state park has extensive miles of moderate-level hiking, mostly in wooded areas but some also adjacent to the lake shore. As predicted, mid/late October offered plenty of colour, specially in the hemlock/Nicolet Bay trails. Do avoid going too late (later than 12:00) for it can get rather packed.

I recently visited Peninsula State Park at 12002 WI-42, in Ellison Bay, WI. A beautiful park. I hiked the Eagle Trail and it made this old man give it up, but I preserved. It gave me a good challenge.
