I actually tent camped, so I didn't stay in a room, but some of the guys in my group did. Everyone agrees it's a great place for a little getaway. The owners are really great people. The breakfasts are great! And the pool is very welcome at the end of a hot, humid day!

This is absolutely the best location, best facility, run by the best people. Laura and Blair are absolutely awesome and will make any and every stay memorable, breezy, and fun. Cannot recommend Penmerryl enough.
I cannot say enough good things about this place. Clean rooms, a beautiful swimming pool, fishing and hiking trails, dog friendly and they welcome motorcyclists. We can’t wait until we can come back and spend more time here. Just amazing!
This is a real gem. The rooms are very, very clean. The owners are friendly, and they just put in a new pool. The stables and fields are nice for horses. They have a lovely dressage ring with good footing, a regular riding ring, a round pen, and a field with cross county jumps. Lots of adv riders use this as a home base, so there must be nice trails to ride in the area. We were on our all on road Harleys, so we didn't take advantage of them. Breakfast was wonderful and cooked fresh. It is also dog friendly, but all dogs must be kept on leash.
