Great place for a fall getaway. The grounds are well kept and our site was a nice size.
It's a small camp ground and quiet. Good WiFi and cable. Many of the transient sites alternate so your door is facing others. The sites are gravel and level. It sits along side Penn Creek steam so kayaking is available if you have your own. They sell ice and wood and each site has a fire ring. The owner seems pleasant enough. There is NO ONE in the office except on Friday After noon. There is not much to do in the local area, but it is pretty. You are not far off of a fairly busy two Lane road so there is some noise. There is a small airport not far so during the day you will hear small planes loudly. There is no fenced dog run. Where we were put was not easy to get into for a large rig and a worker actually called and asked why they would put us there. There is a small bath house.
Wonderful place to enjoy a summer weekend! Right beside Penns Creek. Very quiet atmosphere. Anything you need is within 5 minutes drive and Penn State Football is less than an hour away. Also, some pretty fantastic people are running it.
Nice quiet small campground. Well kept with Penn creek running behind it. Small play area for kids. We enjoyed our long weekend over Memorial day weekend. Beautiful area!!
Excellent, quiet campground. We camped right on the creek. Electric and water hookup were a bonus. Beautiful place. We stayed 3 nights and were in site 25. Awesome.
