Penn's Creek Campground offers a distinct camping experience, perfect for those seeking a genuine escape. It's a place where the sounds of the stream replace the buzz of notifications, and starry nights outshine city lights. Whether you're an avid angler, a family looking for a memorable getaway, or simply someone yearning for tranquility, Penn's Creek Campground provides a memorable setting for creating lasting memories in the beautiful Pennsylvania wilderness.
Penn's Creek Campground is conveniently located at 7300 Creek Road, Millmont, PA 17845, USA. Tucked away in Union County, this campground offers the perfect balance of accessibility and seclusion. While it feels wonderfully remote, it's still within a reasonable driving distance for many residents across Pennsylvania. The journey to the campground itself sets the tone for your outdoor adventure, leading you through picturesque Pennsylvania landscapes.
Access to the campground is generally straightforward, though it’s always a good idea to consult a map beforehand, especially given the rustic nature of the area. As many visitors have noted, cell service can be limited or non-existent in the immediate vicinity and even in the nearest town. This characteristic, while a significant draw for those looking to truly disconnect, is an important factor to consider for planning. Therefore, printing directions or downloading offline maps before you depart is highly recommended to ensure a smooth arrival. The serene setting, free from the constant ping of digital distractions, is one of the primary reasons locals flock to this specific location for their camping needs.
Penn's Creek Campground focuses on providing a classic camping experience with essential services to ensure a comfortable stay.

- Hookups: Many campsites are equipped with hookups, ensuring that your essential needs for power and water are met, making your stay more convenient.
- Restrooms and Facilities: While specific details on bathhouses or other communal facilities are best confirmed directly with the campground, a typical campground of this nature provides basic restroom amenities to campers.

- Creekside Camping: A significant highlight is the availability of campsites located directly on Penn's Creek. The soothing sound of the flowing water creates a truly peaceful atmosphere, ideal for relaxation and connecting with nature. However, potential campers should be aware, as noted by past visitors, that some creekside sites (such as campsite 44) can be prone to flooding during periods of high water. It's advisable to inquire about the specific characteristics of your chosen site when booking, especially during wetter seasons.
- Unplug and Disconnect: For many, the lack of cell service is not a drawback but a major advantage. This campground provides an unparalleled opportunity to truly disconnect from digital distractions, fostering genuine engagement with your surroundings and companions. It’s the perfect place to leave your phone behind and embrace a digital detox.
- Fishing Paradise: Penn's Creek is widely known as a premier fly-fishing destination in Pennsylvania. Campers have immediate access to prime fishing spots, making it an ideal retreat for anglers of all skill levels. Remember to check local fishing regulations before your trip.

I like this campground, this only issue I had was the campsites along the creek were prone to flooding. I was in campsite 44 and we had no protection from the high waters. No cell service so if you want to get away it's the place.
Campsite was right on water. Hook ups were all in good working condition. My only concern is there is no cell service. Not a big deal if f you are prepared but we were not. It should probably be mentioned on website. Even in nearest town cell service s spotty with Verizon. We could not access weather reports or maps. Unfortunately we have grown accustomed to having information at our fingertips. Bring a map, a cell booster or radio and unless you have Starlink make sure you download any important information or media you wish to play. We were there to fish so it wasn’t a big deal except weather reports and stream regulations.
Penns Creek campground is a hidden gem of a place nested right on Penns creek. Fishing, relaxing, camping, great people surround you. Events in the surrounding area as well as TD Cats make this an every year thing for us. Should be for you too.
Great place to relax and work with the crew on some fresh new tracks.
Decent economical campground but kind of in the middle of nowhere. The full hookup sites were large enough, and right on the river. I had a great time here, solo camping and fishing every day. But that's why I went. For a family or a couple who isn't big into trout fishing, you might get a little bored. There is not much to do that is very close by. The nearest decent sized grocery store or Walmart is about 45 minutes away. But if you're looking to get away from all that, this could be a nice peaceful retreat.
