May 2023, Very nice well maintained campground that is big rig friendly. The camp sites are gravel with water, electric, fire pit and picnic table. Be sure to follow the directions on the website. Lori and John are very friendly people. Very nice well stocked store with hand dipped icecream. Playground for the kids paved road for your bikes. I absolutely recommend staying here.

We loved this campground! The staff was so friendly, it is very fairly priced to stay and the campground itself is beautiful. We were there during a race and it was nice to watch the event. There is a lovely general store and a park for the kids. We will definitely be back next summer!

We chose this camp because it was close to the Enola bike trail. Pros: Reasonable nightly fees. Large sites along the creek.Outgoing, helpful staff. Cons: Narrow, numerous large potholes on entrance road. Goose poo all over sites, roads, fields, playground. Large muddy hole at end of our site #94 Was there all weekend. My truck got stuck backing into site even with 4 wheel drive. No water on sites, departure morning and no one in office to contact for help. Last but not least the dump station was a muddy mess. No end on water hose to connect to trailer or flushing hose. Need a better dump station for a campground with no sewer hookups on the sites.

Good and bad. I love how there is a covered bridge adjacent to the entrance of this campground but you also need to navigate around it. It can be a little tricky getting to it but the campground does a good job of pointing it out and helping with that. This campground is beautifully situated by the creek and some people were tubing. However I didn’t see a lot of easy entrance points. It’s nice and dark here at night. We were in Site 21 and it was very roomy. This campground does have a lot of full-timers. We were here about 5 days and don’t travel with kids. So we weren’t bothered that there aren’t a lot of amenities here. We loved that it is very close to the Enola Rail Trail. Great scenic route for biking for the whole family. And head over to the Sight and Sound Theater in Strasburg to see an inspiring Broadway worthy show! The bad thing here is the dump station. It is sorely lacking and greatly needs improvement. It needs to have a fresh water connection to use with your black tank flush. It is simply dump, no rinse. It is also in an awkward spot. So take it or leave it. We’ll probably look elsewhere next time.
