We are very disappointed. The staff/owners were nice. We were going to camp in our motorhome in a site we thought would be quiet away from the hustle and bustle. We even visited prior, to pick the site. WRONG!!! They put a tent city in the Rv site next to ours. Nice big family of at least 20 people. Loud music and loud voices until the wee hours of the morning. We paid $180 for the 3 days we were going to stay. We spoke to Mike the son, very nice young man and he told us they were warned. 3:00pm the next day they started again. We left by 4:30 Sat. On our way home I called the office and told them we left and why. Expected her to say, I am very sorry and at least offer to refund $90 for the day and a half. Not a word!! Oh well!!!

We just became seasonals here and are absolutely loving it, from the Magliano Family who own it to the seasonals, from the boat house to the rec hall and the beautiful and peaceful views which come from Gardner Lake which it sits on. A very peaceful positive atmosphere and place the people and the owners are amazing people who make your stay unforgettable, Mike the son who is one of the owners and Bill are constantly improving the campground so it can be enjoyed by many, upper field consists of horseshoe pits to Bacci ball courts to a nice Sandy volleyball court. To playscapes for the kids, to a HUGE fire pit that they use throughout the season. The history in the campground itself is incredible. And if your ever in the area check out the old story about the house under the water. They say you can even here the piano playing at midnight. The campground is set back in the beautiful surroundings of Oakdale Ct, if your looking for a place to camp just as a for a few days to a week I highly recommend it, if your looking for a new seasonal home, you will NOT be disappointed i promise you

I found this place via internet search. The website looked promising so I decided to drive down and see the place before renting one of their"cabins". I'm glad I did. Pequot Ledge should be avoided at all cost. Park your vehicle in a rest area for a better experience. This place is so run down and neglected that only two of the twelve "cabins" are available for rent and those have serious problems. The people that own this place should be ashamed of themselves. The next town over has better camps.
