Gorgeous State Park. This park just kept surprising me. I stayed in Mather Lodge, which has a beautiful view of the canyon. I hiked the bear cave trail, seven hollows trail, cedar falls trail, and the canyon trail. Every single one wowed me. I would’ve done the rock house cave trail with hieroglyphs, but sadly it was closed. This state park is definitely one of my favorite that I have visited, and I would definitely come here again.

We did the white diamond trail to see the water falls. Our family of 9 included 5 children ranging in ages from 9-14, and all were happily engaged on the hike. Will definitely return!

Probably one of the nicest parks we have stayed at! The staff has been exceptional! We knew the weather was going to turn for the worse , they expected 5" of snow, but got double +, but decided to stay. They have been very diligent in keeping tabs on our well-being. They even went as far as to plow the road for us. We will definitely return again, hopefully under better conditions. Thank you to the park staff and crew for a fantastic snowy stay!!
