Guests have raved about their experiences at Pettecote Junction Campground:

"We loved our first stay at Pettecote Junction. We stayed in one of the primitive tent sites which overlook the river. Bathrooms are clean and the campsite overall is very well kept and adorable. The stars at night are amazing, we could see the Milky Way. They are also right along a railway converted to bike path, with truly stunning views along the river. In areas it felt like we were out West!! Also very close to great hiking. We will be back, thanks for a great stay!"
"Great campground! We stayed in the caboose, which was fun! The decor was beautiful and perfect for my husband and I! Staff were very nice and accommodating! Glenda was so helpful in giving us directions to Morris so that we could participate in a video conference that we had scheduled. Direct access to the Pine Creek Rail Trail was so convenient. Loved our stay and plan to go back!"

This was our first experience at Pettecote Junction Campground and we LOVED it! The staff was friendly and helpful. The campground is beautiful and the workmanship and attention to detail throughout the campsite is IMPRESSIVE! The showers were great and worth the quarters! Totally enjoyed the convenience to get onto the rails to trails. We were also grateful for the shuttle north to experience more of the trail. Thank you to the owners for creating such a great space for people to enjoy the great outdoors!

This is our favorite place to camp. Everyone is so nice. The camp ground is beautiful and there are so many things to do. It's a long the water and the bike trail. The bathrooms are very clean and they have a lot of room, very private. There is nothing I would change...except maybe a small bench in the bathroom...everything else is perfect. ♥️

Beautiful location and very peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the spring. Large Class A drivers should be careful when crossing several bridges. If you’re towing a vehicle behind your Class A - disconnect!

This was a back to nature setting. We enjoyed the campground and surrounding area. The road leading to the campground from The north was a bit challenging but also an adventure. Nike trails were wonderful with lots of beautiful sights! Very relaxing!

The poplar cabin (glamping) we stayed in was fairly clean, the ceiling fan could have used a dusting.. the beds were better than tent camping but loud everytime you moved. The door only locks from the outside and not the inside so this cabin isn't ideal for traveling with little toddlers that know how to open doors. But if you have no little children or older children you don't need to worry about it is a perfect spot. The campground itself is lovely. But the one owner was a little aggressive when I was purchasing things in the store for my child. I paid in cash and she explained there was tax needed (which sure I understand although the day before I bought a stuffed animal with cash and was not asked for tax so I was thrown off) I told her no problem, I would go get some change for her and bring it back. She was explaining they could charge my account which seemed silly over 30 cents of tax. Pretty sure it Cost more for them to process that with a card so TBH it just seemed like her trying to school me in front of her trainee and it was a little off putting. This was the first time ever meeting her. Our second stay at this campground. It wasn't enough to rub me wrong that I don't want to return but figured I would give my honest review. My mother in law had given up her spot for them a few days before check in to accommodate a party that wanted to be next to each other. So the transaction between us wasn't great and she could have handled the way she communicated better but just don't think that is her personality. First time we visited I never met her so let's hope when I return we have a better exchange. I'll be sure to have extra change for cash purchases.

We've been several times and it's one of our favorite campgrounds. It's well maintained and very quiet. Be prepared for very narrow roads to get there and no cell service. Definitely for the crowd that wants to get away and relax.

Absolutely Gorgeous area, everything was perfect. Great place for family. Just wish I could have taken our dog Magenta. Next year we are taking our motorhome so we can have Magenta with us. Looking forward to seeing you all again. Cynthia & Bill Hartman
