I wanted to know if anyone had lost a small light tan dog out of the camp ground? There is one in the field across the road from this camp ground... I tried to get it to come to me but it was to scared... if you turn right out of camp ground the gate is across the road... the little dog was just running loose in there... I don't know who to call to report but I wrote it in here because it was the only place close to where I saw the little dog... hope someone sees and can go look for it...

This camp is pretty nice, most of the time the fire fighters keep the grass trimmed. You can bring a camper or a tent, but there is a per night fee so bring your check book and stop and the info board on the way in. People bring their horses here sometimes and hunters use it during the various seasons. Mosquitoes can be bad so make your fire early.

Very Dusty. Most traffic goes well over the speed limit and don't slow down when driving by the campground, speed limit not enforced my entire 2 week stay.. it's a very fine dust that lingers in the air.. Camp as far from the road as possible. I camped near the pavilion and had to pack up camp days early because of breathing problems and I don't have medical breathing problems.. saw a lot of deer and variety birds... No potable water.

If you are looking for a good intermediate off road trail, Triple G Trail is nice. High clearance or good traction needed to go through the wettest spots. Great for mountain/trail biking as well. Avoid the wet season though.

A perfect primitive spot with a great location. Kind campground host and spacious spots. It is very open and you will see a lot of your neighbors, but that isn’t too much of a worry as many folks are here for hunting. It’s quiet in the evenings and makes for a great sunset spot.

Picayune SF is nice once you get there. There is a 1 mile dirt road to campground but not too bad. Sites are nice with some shade and great trails for walking. Access to water and trash bins. About a 50 minute drive to Naples. Our host Mike was super nice and seems to keep an eye out for campground. My wife and I will likely stay again when in the Naples area.
