Pickwick Adventures

We had such a fun first camping trip for our toddler here! The sites are nicely spaced out, and the sites themselves are equipped with everything but food! Mark and his family are so nice and accommodating. I had all of my questions answered promptly! We are excited to see what developments come in the future and to return with both of our kids!

Our kids got us a trip here for our 28th anniversary, and we had a great time. The campsite is clean and spaced out. Tents had A/C and heat. We used the A/C while we were there, and it did the job. King size bed was comfortable, and the tent had a projector and DVD player for watching movies. Wifi is available, and that was great. Owners are great about returning your calls and very friendly. You feel like you're part of the family. Can't wait to see what they do as they grow.

We had a remarkably amazing experience with our first camping trip ever .Host "Mark"and family really surprised us with their friendliness & eagerness to assist us.They went above and beyond to ensure our seamless experience. We had booked four camp sites and all were equipped with all the mandatory stuff like beds, linen,comfirtors, lights,AC ,Heater ,Water arrangment, portable restrooms.Everything was clean and well organized .We watched movie on projector, used bonefire for s'mores ,we used grill to barbeque ,first time we celebrated friend's bday in open place and whatnot ... Each and every activity throughout the day turned out phenomenal. Kudos to "Pickwick Adventures" & host "Mark" for outstanding service and creating such a welcoming environment for the clients.I highly appreciate their dedication for clients satisfaction!! We wish to come back really sooner.

Went for a buddy of mines bachelor trip a few years ago now. It happened to snow several inches the first night of our stay. One of the coldest and most fun camping trips I’ve been on. Absolutely loved it. He was also nice enough to let us stay in the tree house for those few nights so we didn’t freeze to death 😂

I surprised my husband for our one year anniversary to a glamping weekend getaway! It turned out to be the absolutely best idea ever!! The owner was the most nicest guy we ever met! He was so welcoming, friendly and talked to us a good bit just about anything and everything before leaving the site. He also owns the Pickwick Bar and Grill which I believe was 8-9 minutes away from the glamp site! His restaurant had great food and beverages. Karaoke on Friday night was SO MUCH FUN! My favorite part of the restaurant was the people that was there! We made new friends and even exchanged numbers to go on some couple date nights! The rates are way more than reasonable, the view was breathtaking, the shade made it bearable in this excessive heat and the PEACEFULNESS was my favorite part! I only have two suggestions … bring BUG SPRAY and ACTUALLY USE IT! We brought some, however I decided for whatever reason not to ever use it and I regret it now lol I am ATE up with mosquito bites. Which is not the venues fault lol it’s my very own fault. My other suggestion is if you go on the hiking trail … make sure you clarify where in the world to go and what to expect lol Do not attempt it without asking where exactly it starts and ends. Unless your professional hikers. My husband and I got lost on the hike and it turned out to get a little scary. We ended up just climbing up on our hands and feet on the “cliffs” to get back up to the camp site. We were lost for an hour. But after me blacking out (literally), getting some battle wounds from climbing and sliding down steep slopes, running out of water during the hike and tons of spider webs all over me we finally made it back. Regardless, it was the best couples getaway ever! I’d choose that again over the beach ANYTIME!!!! Our next visit to Pickwick Adventures will definitely be the group glamping rental!!

This place exceeded our expectations we only stayed one night in the cabin but it was a great stay i will be back! The cabin had all of our needs we only had to bring food. And the bed and pillows were amazing my cousin and I were searching for the brand on it we were so in love with it! The owner was very friendly and called to make sure we didn't need anything before he ended his evening rounds. We can't wait to come back for another girls trip, hopefully to try out the glamp tents next!
