The road to this camp is sure adventurous. It took about one hour to drive in from the coast. I felt I was on a 4 wheeling Jamboree competition. Don't know how anyone can pull a trailer out there.

I have to admit Pico Blanco Scout Res. Camp looks the same after 47 years since my last scout camping days, I really enjoyed the redwood trees and the peace and quiet. It’s a place every scout should experience.

All the CIT were a blast to be with but the gnats and mosquitoes are almost everywhere around you. Had lots of fun though!

Summer camp with my Troop was exceptional. I especially loved the Redwoods.
