Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, MI - 9/4/24. If you find yourself here, and the weather is accommodating, it's worth making a memory and taking one of the kayak or boat tours offered at Pictured Rocks. For those seeking the more adventurous route, then the Ultimate Kayak tour is definitely the way to go. It lasts between 4-5 hours and will run you about $100 per person. This is a very pretty area, (because its in the UP), it's well worth the hike! The one picture Is the northern lights, they were out one of the nights we were there, they were so amazing!!! Great place the view them if there out. the camp sites were nice with nice fire pits, and pit toilets and each campground. the trail gets used a lot, so it is very clear and established.

Beautiful coastline that makes a wonderful backpacking experience. I enjoyed my time backpacking in August seeing mushrooms, fog in the mornings, blueberries you could forage and nice sunsets. I do want to advise others that it rained and was in the low 40s some nights in early August, so prepare warmly for those chilly hours.

This place was absolutely amazing! It was like the scene out of a movie. The water is the bluest I've ever seen. The weather was perfect for this time of year. We did about 10 miles total, but we plan to go back and do the whole 40-mile hike. Huge cliff views, beach area, and picture worthy shots. Don't miss out!

This place is what dreams are made of. There are miles and miles of breath taking views. Be prepared these trails are remote. You will not have cell service most the time. Bring plenty of water if planning a significant hike. Watch your step you're one stumble from falling off a cliff lol so be careful do not recommend the long trail for small children. The park is a great combination of modern and rustic. Put this place on your bucket list!
