Pictured Rocks RV Park

We stayed two nights at the RV park. They have both concrete and gravel pads. The power and water was good. The restrooms and showers were clean and in good order. I was happy to find a park without all the sand and dirt of a camping experience campground. Close to Munising and the local attractions.

If you can get a site under the trees, that would be wonderful, although you probably could not get Wi-Fi, as the only Wi-Fi is near the bathhouse. Kim in the office is wonderful. The good part about the pads is they are level. The bad part is that all of them face each other, so all the doors and all the picnic tables make for no privacy. The worst part is only one stall in the men’s bathroom. On many days there was a line of men waiting outside. Although there are two washing machines, one of them is broken, and the maintenance man said it won’t be fixed by the end of the year. It was ridiculous trying to get a load of laundry washed, most days having to wait three hours till everyone else was finished. We wouldn’t stay there again.

Nice park. New and well maintained. I give it a 3 because the manager was NOT honest with me at check-in. We were placed at the end of the park with construction of new sites next to us. Our site was soft and we could not get our rig level using our jacks. The jacks kept sinking. I asked for a pull through or a site with concrete pad. Was told all has been spoken for. I saw many of such sites empty the whole time we were there! Thus a 3 maybe even a 2!

This is fabulous place to park your RV when exploring the area. Shopping and restaurant offering abound. The folks running the campground are friendly and helpful. The campsites are huge! I don't normally use the showers in the campground we stay at, but our water pressure has been giving us trouble so I enjoyed one there. Very nice clean restrooms as well as the campground.

Spots are very spacious and we had a great stay. Great showers. Only thing is I wish there were more men’s stalls. Lots of people choose to avoid stinking up the camper and with only 1 stall, there was always someone in there. We ate at Foggy’s right down the road which was also top notch.

Very long and spacious sites! Easy to navigate. Helpful staff. Very quiet campground.

The park was very well maintained as with about everything up here in the UP, the locals were so friendly. We spent a long weekend and knocked some things off the bucket list

We stayed here recently and really enjoyed it. Very nice campground. Not a lot of shade, but sites are level and ours had a cement pad. Bathrooms were clean and had a laundry in the bathhouse building. Would definitely stay again if we are ever in the upper penisula.
