Great little campground! We had a beautiful lot with a great view of the lake. The dog beach was a perfect place to chill with our pooch while we spent the afternoon in the water! The bathrooms and showers were clean and the dishwasher station was a plus. Con: the train but the view quickly outweighs the noise.
Absolutely beautiful. Camping on the beach with the view of the lake and mountains in front of me. I will be back next year. 💜
Had a great stay at Pierre’s Campground, everyone is friendly! The beach is little rocky but the beach views are amazing. Lots of kids, good park and fun mini golf that kept ours children entertained and happy .. we will definitely be coming back!
We arrived late and stayed one night. Next to the beach with lake access and warm water. The train is loud and runs all night and the showers were ice cold but we appreciated having a place to stay short term.
Yes there is a train. Yes it is loud. But the train runs through the entire town so isn't avoidable. It's well fenced off. My kids actually loved it. Less trains at night. Beach was very nice. Got to rent a canoe and kids got to swim on the beach. They have a nice store on site for use. Canoe rentals a bit high for the first hour. $25 then 10$ per hour after. But we all enjoyed it. My husband is good at steering though so we saw a lot. Great way to explore. Like nice and warm. They also have mini golf. $8/family. We try and save money so didn't do it but looked like fun. Sites decent.
