Super neat must see area! Unlike Plymouth Rock, this monument is pretty cool
Nice area. The causeway is fun to walk. During low tide, you'll see tons of birds eating mussels and clams. Tons of small crabs crawling around. Other side of causeway has lighthouse, sand dunes and beautiful crisp beach.
Interesting historical site. Nice views. Walked out onto the jetty to see some sort of duck and other birds. Water was very clear if you're looking for aquatic animals. Jetty is large rocks with gaps between them so not for everyone. This isn't what I consider a "park". It is a small area in the middle of a traffic circle with the historical marker and paver stones around it. The views from the jetty are nice. Parking is along the curb at the outer part of the circle and is limited. Worth the visit for me but it wasn't crowded as I went before the summer season.
Parking here is NOT free, despite the other reviews saying it is and lack of signage about paid parking. Walking across the jetty is fun (a bit over a mile each way, wear sturdy shoes) however we were greeted with a ticket afterwards.
Had a great time exploring the light houses. We spent a good 4 hours exploring. Check the tide. We headed across at 2pm. Tide was low from 2pm to 9pm. Don't get stuck out there. Make sure to take water and snacks. There are no restrooms.
