This was our first RV camp site. The place was convenient. The price was good but we chose to be near the fishing pond thinking it would be peaceful the highway was right behind it and we couldn't sleep with all the traffic noise. The next day, I got some ear plugs and slept much better. Overall, it was not that bad that it had all the hookups we needed. The employees were very nice.
Super easy drive and easy to find following GPS. Check in is easy and the staff are nice. We stayed in a rustic cabin for the weekend. The outside of the cabin definitely looks rustic. Indoors is 2 sets of bunk beds, a small table with three stools, some hooks, a dresser, and an AC. First impression it was pretty clean and simple. When looking on the top bunk between the mattress and the wall it got a little gross however. Mattresses were okay, not the comfiest but good enough. The AC was a life saver with keeping it cool. The bath house is conveniently located near the cabins. This also was pretty clean. The exterior curtain where you change is not quite wide enough to give full coverage though. Shower water gets hot and the water pressure is decent enough. The staff were friendly and the other campers seemed nice as well. Will definitely be staying here again!
Great family orientation campground! Close the PA Renaissance Faire. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Parade, Trick or Treating, and Haunted House during Halloween season were amazing! My only gripe is that the sites are way too close to each other for my liking.
We stayed here during the RV show. Sad we did. The bathrooms smell like urine, bad…..not clean at all. My photos will not upload from my phone which I took and I don’t know why I will try again later. The noise from the highway is beyond degree all day and night…Loud! I will honestly say, and hate to say it , but on all of our trips, This has been the worst campground. It gives the impression that it’s a great campground, which when you arrive on the property it is not. The customer service at the desk was very nice. The guys at the guard shack was also drinking alcohol hidden in their golf cart.
Staff was very friendly. Campers were friendly. Bathrooms always cleaned in the morning. Great cleaning lady. The cabin was pet friendly. I enjoyed playing with the kids in the arcade room. The army truck ride was fun. Quiet campground besides highway noise since it is close. I was out at one am and it was fairly quiet I could hear the bugs chirping. The pool was very clean and nice. The pond was neat. You could walk around the entire pond on a little trail. It has a huge water fountain in the middle. Lots of tv sites. Some are in the open and many shady sites to choose from. It was my first time there. But I five star it!!!! I suggest everyone come check it out! I'll be returning for sure.
