Based on recent customer reviews, experiences at Pine Acres Campground appear to be varied. One reviewer expressed absolute love for the campground, describing it as a great place to relax. They noted friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and awesome amenities, including a camp store and hosted events, leading them to highly recommend the location.

However, another long-term seasonal camper of over 10 years reported a significantly negative experience over the past two seasons. This review described management as rude, disrespectful, and using vulgar language. It also alleged inconsistent enforcement of rules, issues with drugs, excessive alcohol consumption, and late nights. The reviewer claimed a lack of amenities provided by management, stating that seasonal campers run the horseshoe and cornhole tournaments. The cleanliness of the bathrooms was heavily criticized, with mentions of broken toilets, leaking faucets, and vandalism. The review also mentioned concerns about the cleanliness and safety of the river referred to as a lake, citing reported deaths and a potential cover-up. Furthermore, the reviewer alleged bullying of elderly campers by management and expressed dissatisfaction with corporate's responsiveness to seasonal campers' concerns. This reviewer strongly advises against choosing Pine Acres for a quiet and activity-filled camping experience.

Given these contrasting recent experiences, local users considering Pine Acres Campground should be aware of the differing opinions. It may be beneficial to contact the campground directly for the most current information on their services, amenities, and management practices to form an informed decision.

Absolutely love this campground, great place to kick back and relax. All the staff were very friendly and helpful with any of my concerns. The facilities were always clean with no issues. The amenities were awesome from the camp store to the events that were hosted. I would highly recommend this place to all my friends and family.

First of all I have been a seasonal camper at Pine Acres Campground for 10+ years and these past two seasons there was a nightmare. The management there are very rude disrespectful and uses vulgar language in front of you to you and about you on a daily basis. They pick and choose who to say things to and who to let get away with things. There are drugs and lots of alcohol and late nights in that park on a daily basis. Management knows it and some of the past managers joined in on it with them. These two Girls Meghan and Jessica just let things pass. They have belittled people in front of other people and if you try and stick up for yourself they target you more. They write false violations and lie about the violations not even verify them just take other peoples word for it. They have absolutely NO amenities at there park. The horseshoes and the cornhole tornaments are run by the seasonals and not the management without them there would be nothing. The river whom they refer to as a lake is so dirty and full of leaches and so far that I know of and been there 2 people have died in that lake. Which one of them was a cover up. Cleanliness OK lets talk about cleanliness, Bathrooms, I wouldn't let my dog go to the bathroom in there. Broken toliets, leaking and broken faucets in showers, kids punching holes in walls, poop all over the walls, and the only ONE person that works in the park does everything she can and tries to manage it all by herself. Thank You Sherry. Management have bullied elderly people right out of the campground, people that have been there for 30+ years. They are going down hill fast and continue to roll that way and corporate refuses to hear from us seasonals about anything that goes on in that park, They have too many other parks to worry about, so if your planning on a nice quiet and lots of activities to do at a campground PINES ACRES is NOT YOUR PLACE TO BE.

Love hate relationship with this place. I always try to come do laundry , but it’s always closed . I come today around 10 am , and it’s not even open even though the signs say 9-5 m-f …. Please try to accommodate your hours thats posted. The positive side to this review is that they are always clean, and take mobile app/CC.

This was my first time staying here. I was kind of nervous at first based of past reviews but I went in with an open mind. When we first arrived the office staff was nice check in was easy. The front looked clean and taken care of. We got to our site which was A25 and was impressed with the size of it since we have a huge tent. It fit perfectly and we still had a lot of room. It was very quiet in our area and had a small but nice view of the river. The bathrooms in our area by the rec room were very clean all the times we used them. I am not sure about the other ones around the campground because we didn’t use any other ones. We took a ride to the beach area and was impressed with all the parking. We didn’t swim because it was a little too mucky for me. I have a fear of stuff like that but I’m just overly picky about that part. Overall it was quiet we heard some music from the pavilion area sites from across the way at night but wasn’t overly loud or obnoxious. We don’t mind that kind of stuff since it is camping and a place to have a good time. We will definitely stay again.

This Is a nice park , full hook ups are nice to have , cable TV is also great , the staff are very helpful , the pool is beautiful , laundromat is pretty small but works out OK. The Lake however Is a MAD DISAPPOINTMENT Wall to Wall Lilly pads Are out of control , wich renders it pretty useless, I've Never seen Any lake so screwed up , they Realy shouldn't advertise fishing at all until corporate cleans all that out of there . This place Would and Could be considered a " resort " campground If the would clear that mess out of the water.

The campground is actually nice. The bathrooms are clean and fairly new. The sites are maintained well. But the management is questionable. Why in the world would they allow a seasonal member to blast their music all day. I was 6 sites away and could hear it inside a closed up camper. And to add to that the person there was singing louder than the music. I thought there might be an issue when I first saw beer-pong setup on the card table. Seriously, I may have given 5 stars except for that .

EDIT- 4/1 I have visited this laundromat the past couple times and they have been open at the hours posted, Thank you for adhering by those hours for people like myself who run on a schedule. Will be updating my review accordingly.
