Customer Reviews
Pine Canyon 4 is super nice and had great views all around, Pine Canyon Trailhead is not far away about a 10min drive. The road is very rocky, I aired down just for a smoother drive through. There is only a bear box at this site.
Beautiful campsite. This is my favorite on Pine Canyon. It's got a driveway of sorts, so it's pretty far off the road. There's also a turnaround which makes it easy to get in and out of. There's a pad site and a bear box. You could probably get to it with a 2x4 truck (why would you have one of those in the first place lol), unless there's been recent rain that washed the road out. We got there no problem with a mostly stock 4x4 Tacoma and our 13ft Obi Dweller. The turnaround made it so easy with the camper. We didn't really have to back it in at all. The site offers a great view of sunsets and sunrises.
Fantastic view and worth taking the 4x4 to get to it. Not necessarily need 4x4 but higher clearance is very nice to not scrap or bottom out.
One of my favorite camp sites in my favorite national park.
