All in all we had a wonderful day at the lake. But I wish we'd known the amenities were underwhelming. Sadly the hot dog/ other food stuffs stand isn't operational anymore, just ice cream. They do provide plenty of picnic tables and grills but you must bring your own charcoal or cooking apparatus and whatever food you're wanting to eat. I was hoping for a no-effort lunch, but we hoofed it to the store and back instead. Again, we had a great time and the kids we were with loved it, just wish it weren't advertised everywhere that there would be food available on site 🤷🏻♀️
We had brought a canoe and inflatable paddle board with us only to be told that you can't use those off the beach, you have to rent theirs. So all we did was swim. The bathrooms were a little dirty too.
This small beach is a great spot for family outing. The beach is small but I really like that. I went on a field trip with my nephew for school. Bathrooms had 2 toilets, no electric, nice playground, and well-kept beach front. Will go again!
We spend almost everyday there and love it. It's clean, quiet and very peaceful.
Excellent views on a nice quiet beach. There was a wedding there that day on the beach, so the whole thing wasn't open. Ice creams are huge, so order a size smaller than you normally would.
