Recent changes have transformed Pine Meadows Campground into a more family-friendly destination. While most reviewers praise the campground’s environment, one review mentioned an issue with a neighboring camper’s dogs barking early in the morning, which may be a consideration for light sleepers. This appears to be an isolated incident, as most reviews are overwhelmingly positive.

Customer Reviews
We love this campground. The hosts were very nice. The rangers are incredible! They kept a strong presence throughout the campground. Pine Meadows has changed a great deal in some aspects. It used to be a loud, obnoxious party on the weekends. Now that they have gone reservation only, no alcohol, and limiting visitors, it has returned to a good family campground. Campers were having fun, while respectful of hours and neighbors. It was the quietest we had ever experienced there! There was just one camper in site 75 on Labor Day weekend, that had two dogs they would put outside, starting at 7 am.Made for a good alarm clock so you wouldn't oversleep. One of the dogs barked at everyone and everything. I felt particularly bad for the people in tents right across from them. We will most definitely return. We highly recommend.
A nice getaway to lakeside camping. Sites were mostly level and had some shade. Staff was friendly and helpful. Price was right and there was a availability. Barely usable internet. Nearby town of Cottage Grove is 14 minutes away no matter where you go...
I enjoy camping here, the showers are hot and the restrooms stay clean for the most part excluding the weekends of course LOL. Plenty of shade and right on the water. Close to town if you need to get something. The host are very friendly and gracious.
Wonderful camp ground! I love the spacious spots. The lake is nice. People complaining about the rules are obviously NOT liking to follow them. There wouldn't be an issue if people could just behave themselves and not spoil the quiet for others with their loud and drunken behavior. I'm glad that isn't an issue here. Camp hosts are awesome. They do a great job making sure people are behaving themselves. If you're an adult that can't handle a few rules, that's a you problem.
Great camp ground. Only issue was the lake was low so the swimming area wasn't open but we went to the other side of the lake and found a great spot for all the kids. The rangers where so nice and helped the kids get their junior ranger badges which they loved! If your camping in spots along the water beware that people will walk through your camp sites even with walking paths to the water. Noise level after 10pm was fine never had anyone super loud.. only complaint is the signs on the bathroom state cleaning is a certain time but they clean them whenever they get to them which means closing the bathrooms in the mornings at peak time ( lots of people waiting for the bathroom)
