Highly recommend the group campground. We had a group of 50 and there was plenty of space & we were very close to the water down a steep trail that had a huge sandy beach. Loved it was in a cove as well. Toilets were basic & adequate for primitive camping. Water was beautiful, too.
Beautiful campground. Easy access to beach along wide river. Sites each contained leveled area for tents. Amount of space varied, but several communal benches and grilling areas. Some had amazing views of river (bring hammocks!), some less so. Beware poison oak! On-site water, several spouts. Bathrooms (pit) central and well-provisioned with TP.
