This camp site is more protected from the wind than the Lost Peak campground. You can camp here with a hammock. Be sure to call the park for weather details though. My search online was wrong by 20 degrees. For tenting the pads are very well maintained. Great campsite.

neat clean pads. a relief once you climbed 3000ft. bring water.
